Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger, born 22nd February, 1983 was an American actress, comedian and executive producer. She was the winner of 2008 on The NBC series Last Comic Standing. She hosted Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.
In 2017 Shlesinger hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth and Iliza on Freeform. There are six Netflix comedy specials. Her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show debuted on Netflix in April of 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born into a Jewish family from New York City. [6] She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family relocated when she was just a little girl. She went to the private Greenhill School in Addison, Texas where she took classes in Spanish and played on the school's improvisation group.
Shlesinger appeared on ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She was part of Semester at Sea. She went on to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts in which she pursued a major in film, honed her editing and writing skills and was a part of one of the campus' comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

Shlesinger graduated from college and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was among the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
